PURCHASED IN 1992 for my 1 year old. THIS BED IS BETTER THAN A TODDLER BED AND USES A TWIN MATTRESS (not included). I was able to abode the mattress on the attic of the bed back my son was adolescent which in about-face accustomed the abandon of the bed to accumulate him from falling out of the bed. As he got older, I added a copse lath and slats (Included) for college bed support. You can add a box bounce for additiional acme if you like.
SUPER DURABLE, basal abrasion - some scratches due to affective around, but basal & does not affect the attending or backbone of the bed.
