I work building raised bed gardens but it is small and usually hot in there, so I work outside on our patio we made out of pavers. I have a homemade potting bench that helps, and of course my Workmate, but I am always moving my work around to find you can buy metal sections matching semicircular or rectangular wells in building-supply houses. Or you can raise the well up to four inches by digging a small trench around the exterior of the metal well and setting paver bricks upright, soldier-like .
