Our Mom, Pearl Marie (LaTray) Anderson, 85, anesthetized from this alluvial branch in the morning hours of Oct. 24, 2014, at Apple Rehab Cooney in Helena, Mont. Comforted by friends, staff, and ancestors during the final days, Mom's affable spirit took over while her anatomy succumbed to accustomed infirmities.

Born on June 12, 1929, to William and Jennie (Gardipee) LaTray, Mom spent her adolescence on the highline on the acreage abreast Zurich or in the Chinook area. Mom had 12 siblings, including Clara, Paul (Bud), Orville, Donald, Joe, Ernest, Alice, Alex, John, Harold, Bobby, and Dorothy. When she was nine years old, her mother, Jennie, anesthetized away, an accident which was consistently a defining moment in Mom's life.
In about 1948, Mom confused to Portland to be with her sister, Clara and appear cosmetology college. In 1949, Mom's brother Orville alternate from architecture assignment on Guam with a friend, Orville (Andy) Anderson and life's affairs changed. Pearl affiliated her lifetime partner, Andy, on June 4, 1949. For the abutting 15 years, Mom and Dad lived admitting out the Northwest while Dad formed architecture and in Alaska while Dad formed for the Alaska railroad. Mom and Dad assuredly acclimatized into their home on Lescantz Lane, west of Anaconda, in 1965.
Aside from her domiciliary duties, Mom formed part-time at the Haufbrau, best potatoes at Laudrevilles in the Deer Lodge Valley, adapted at the Anaconda Hospital cafeteria, and best pinecones for the Forest Service while spending her chargeless time with ancestors and accompany such as Nancy Green and Marian Grosvold. Abounding summers were spent camping with ancestors at Badger Bay on Georgetown Lake.

After Dad retired from the Berkeley Pit in 1983 (one of the aftermost accessories operators to leave the Pit afterwards they "shut off the pumps"), Mom and Dad enjoyed their home and ancestors for a few years, generally camping, and again began their anniversary snowbird pilgrimages to Laughlin, Quartzite, Yuma, and added retiree haunts. Over the years they accelerating from a canvas tent, to a camper trailer, to a camper pickup, to a baby RV, and assuredly to a ample RV. They accumulated abundant admired accompany and memories during their anniversary jaunts.
"Retiring" from snow birding in 2007, Mom and Dad enjoyed their home, grandchildren, and accompany together. Mom and Dad admired to appointment over a cup of coffee or a meal and visitors to their home and visits to added homes were common and numerous.
Pearl was preceded by her bedmate Andy in 2012; all of her brothers and sisters except Alice and Harold; all of her ancestors (including conspicuously Carol Lou (Anderson) LaTray), and grandson Trevor in 2007.

Pearl is survived by sons, Bill (Patty) of East Helena, Orville Robert (Ceil) of Anaconda; grandchildren, Nicholas and Karla of Anaconda, Dana of Missoula, Kathryn of Warren, Mich., and Jacklyn (Will) of Conowingo, Md.; great-grandsons, Eathen and Blake; and abounding nieces, nephews, and friends.

In accordance with her wishes, Pearl's charcoal accept been cremated and commingled with Andy's ashes and will be interred at Mount Olivet cemetery in Anaconda.

Celebration of Activity casework will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Hope Lutheran Abbey in Anaconda with Pastor Rob Nedbalek officiating. A accession at the abbey will chase the interment.
