I have had the flu so I am behind on getting book reviews and other reviews posted. Please be patient with me as I get caught up on all those as well as get caught up on emails.

You will see many posts in one day until I get caught back up so I apologize in advance for overloading your feed reader.

Thank you for understanding.

Shifting from plastic bags to cloth shopping bags

Several months ago, I bought a few cloth bags at a thrift store for .25 to .50 each to use while grocery shopping.  I even received a few “store logo” ones free with coupons and given a couple during grand openings.

We do still get plastic bags from the grocery store though (meaning when I forget my cloth bags).  Those  plastic bags get reused in our bathroom trash cans and in the family van as a trash bag.  I recently posted a neat way to store your bags if you Have a lot of plastic grocery bags.

I was looking for something on youtube last night and ran across this video on how to make hand bags (or reuseable shopping bags) from plastic bags:

and one on making a messenger bag (same concept as above)

or how about this one that shows you how to crochet with the bags (sound is a little bad on it though)
