These pasta meals are ready to heat and eat. Just tear off the top and pop in the microwave for 90 seconds to heat up. Pour into a bowl or onto a plate and serve. Each of us favored one flavor over another.
I had the Linguine with Chicken and Mushrooms. Although it was good, it had a weird aftertaste to me. It left an almost chalky feeling on my tongue. Oldest dd said the same thing. Hubby didn't share these as he was at work and we ate these for lunch one day this week.
The children each picked out the pack that appealed to them and the two youngest shared a Spaghetti and Meatballs. Each of them loved their particular pasta of choice.
I personally would not purchase these pastas as I think that the $2.79 price is a little steep for them and I'm just a frugal type person. However, I can see where these pastas would certainly be appealing to people who work and wish to save money by not eating out. They could easily take these pasta meals to work with them and heat them up in a microwave if one is available to them. Also, these meals would be great for college students as they wouldn't need to refrigerate them and could easily be heated up quickly for a quick meal.

I tried the tomato and basil one and it was the least appetizing form of pasta I have ever tried. It tasted disgusting and the pasta noodles had a horrible texture to them.
ReplyDeleteBeware of them and before you go out and buy a bunch make sure you just buy one to try or avoid it all together. I've seen quite a few other threads saying that the other types are also gross.
