REVIEW: Mat Chats, Etc.

Have you ever wanted to have creative placemats that get people talking?

Well these placemats are designed to do just that... get people talking around the table.

Mat Chats All 8

Mat Chats is a new and fresh alternative to the regular placemats.  They are designed to get the conversation flowing around the dinner table.  Once the conversation start flowing, relationships are strengthened among family members as well as friends.

The placemats come in packs of eight (8) and are currently available in eight (8) different topics:

  • Attitude
  • Gratitude
  • Health
  • Reflection
  • Friendship
  • Fun/Work
  • Mindfulnesss
  • Vision

Each theme set also includes an inspirational quote as well as four thought-provoking questions to help the conversation start.

We were sent the Gratitude set and I have to say that this set would be a wonderful edition to your Thanksgiving Day meal table as well as any other day you wish to show your gratitude.

The four questions on this set are:

  1. Name five things you are grateful for.
  2. Describe a happy moment from today or yesterday.
  3. Describe a happy moment in your life.
  4. Tell a person sitting to your left one thing you appreciate about them.

Idea Note:

Combine this set with a pen for each of your table guests and suggest that they write their answers on their placemat. At the end of the evening, your guests may take their placemat home with them for remembrance of the gratitude shared and what they can be thankful for.

OR

Ask that your guests write their answers on their placemat along with their name and the date so that you as the hostess may keep the placemats for a remembrance of your day with family and/or friends.

Overall, I have to say that I adore this set of placemats.  They are paper so  they can't be reused if they get soiled, but you could easily laminate them or have them laminated if you so desire.
