Mystery Shopping Info
Beware of any company that wants you to pay them to be a mystery shopper for them. They are usually not legit companies.
You won't make a living mystery shopping, but it can help supplement your income.
Here's a site that has a HUGE list of companies that hire mystery shoppers.

Take a day or two and sign up with them all. That's what I did. I have gotten my carpets cleaned and got reimbursed for that as well as paid to do it. (gotta love that!) I have eaten at fine restaurants as well as fast food and casual restaurants and got reimbursed and paid to do it. Gotten my oil changed for free, got free chocolate as well as got paid to eat it (now that's heaven on earth).
Note: This is a copy from an old article I wrote a few years ago for my old web page at ivillage. I found it on the internet way back machine (which is very cool). link to the old site. The information is still pertinent to anyone though who still wishes to start in the mystery shopping adventure.
