Whether it’s exploring a new city , lying on the beach or spa pampering, Americans can use a liberation vacation to re-charge themselves for the second half of the year.
Happy Go Lucky
Worn-out parents view the trip as a way to free themselves from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A majority do not have many stipulations for their last chance trip, with 60 percent saying it’s not essential that they travel as a couple.
Destination: Anywhere
Surprisingly, the destination and activities aren’t what motivate travelers; rather, it’s the “getting away” that is the biggest incentive. Americans are flexible when it comes to the destinations for their liberation vacations. Only two in five (41%) say that they would need to go somewhere quiet, such as the beach, and nearly two in 10 (14%) would need to visit a city such as New York or Los Angeles .
Procrastinating Parents
With less than four weeks before the holiday weekend, there is still plenty of time to plan a last chance vacation.
