I am all for children learning to cook. Boys and girls alike can benefit in later life from learning how to cook when they are younger and allowed to assist in the kitchen on a regular basis. My oldest daughter is 20 and she is an excellent cook.  I started teaching her how to cook when she was 10 and allowing her to assist me in the kitchen before then.

The revolution has begun as kids are moving their parents out of the kitchen to prepare delicious and healthier meals themselves with the new web based series, “Jr. Chefs of America”. 

The first kids cooking program created for kids, hosted by real kids who LOVE to cook is teaching parents and kids how to create fresh home cooked meals as an alternative to the fast food nation that is largely responsible for childhood obesity.

Michelle Green, the creator and producer of the show says the web show is creating more opportunities for family time. The concept came from her kids as they love to cook.
