So here's mine...
- I'm a wee bit odd in some people's eyes because I like rootbeer but don't care for licorice. Rootbeer has a licorice flavor. lol
- I would love to have more children but physically can not do so safely for me or the baby.
- I get weather related headaches. About a day to 2 days before a storm is to hit, I get bad headaches. Dh calls me his human barometer. My children ask me in the winter if it's going to snow when I tell them my knees hurt. I have arthritis in both knees and they do hurt a day or two before it's to snow. Not always but many of the times.
- I love old timey stuff - wood cook-stoves, oil lamps, cast iron cookware, hand cranked gadgets that get the job done. My sister has told me that I was born a couple of 100 years too late. LOL My biggest wish is to have a wood cook-stove like my Granny had.
- I would rather shop yard sales and thrift stores than to go to Walmart, Old Navy, Kohl's, Target, etc.
- I love living in the country! I grew up in the country, briefly lived in the city for 5 years, and now live back in the country. YEEHAW
- I'm just an ol' country girl. Growing up, I was a tomboy. I hung around with my Dad and my 3 brothers as my sister was grown and moved out by the time I was 4 or 5. I went hunting, fishing, worked on cars, etc. with my Dad and brothers. I can track an animal, run a trot line, bait my own hooks thank you, change the oil in a car, as well as the plugs, etc. Good things my Dad and brothers taught me but I also can cook and clean thanks to watching my Granny and Sister. Mom cooked from scratch but not as much in my teen years as she did so in my younger years.
