I get an email from National Gardening Association that is tailored to the area I live in.
The recent newsletter had a link in it for Food Preservation Information and gave the link to consult the National Center for Home Food Preservation Web site for the latest information on preserving various foods at home.
In that article, was a link also to a a free, self-paced, online course for those wanting to learn more about home canning and preservation.
- Introduction to Food Preservation
- General Canning
- Canning Acid Foods
- Canning Low-Acid Foods
This course is offered in the University of Georgia WebCT system. UGA requires registration for you to receive a login.
So if you want to learn more about home canning and food preservation, pop over.
