I wasn't sure what to expect going into this book. After reading it a little, I came to see that the Spanish saying the author saw on a Sprite while vacationing summed up the book's subject very well.
"Otro dia, otra ventura"
Translation: "Another day, another adventure".
That's exactly what every day is when you're following the Holy Spirit where He leads you. Every day is a new day. Every day is a new adventure. When you let the Holy Spirit lead you, you'll in for excitement, adventure, and blessings abundantly. There is never a dull moment with God!
The author caught my attention with something too.
He wrote a chapter about being a "Caged Christian". He expounds on what he means and asks if you're "A Caged Christian or a Dangerous Christian?" Now that alone caught my attention because where I live in the "Bible Belt", there are dangerous Christians who give the name "Christian a black eye" but that's not what he is talking about. He is talking about something different.
Where we live and elsewhere I'm sure, there are "Caged Christians" who don't do anything for God. They are caged up in their beliefs, etc. They feel ok just the way they are. Then there are "Dangerous Christians". They are the ones who are doing something for God. They are wreaking havoc on the Enemy. Satan don't like them at all and he doesn't take what they are doing for God by sitting down on the job.
So ask I this question of you.... "Are you a Caged Christian or a Dangerous Christian?" Are you wreaking havoc on the Enemies camp?

About the Book:
Most of us have no idea where we’re going most of the time. Perfect.
“Celtic Christians had a name for the Holy Spirit–An Geadh-Glas, or ‘the Wild Goose.’ The name hints at mystery. Much like a wild goose, the Spirit of God cannot be tracked or tamed. An element of danger, an air of unpredictability surround Him. And while the name may sound a little sacrilegious, I cannot think of a better description of what it’s like to follow the Spirit through life. I think the Celtic Christians were on to something….
Most of us will have no idea where we are going most of the time. And I know that is unsettling. But circumstantial uncertainty also goes by another name: Adventure.” --from the introduction

Your review is so thought provoking and is causing me to take a hard look at myself. I think I've been leaning towards being caged up until recently and I'm starting to go the other way. I like the change and I think I'd really enjoy the book.
