Have you ever got an automated phone call from the doctor's office, etc.?
I get them from time to time from the dentist's office reminding me of an appointment. I even got one just the other day from the electricity company informing me that techs would be in the area working on such and such day.
Some automated phone calls are ok with me it's the others that grate on my nerves.
You probably know the ones I'm referring too. You've probably gotten them yourself.
Nothing makes me madder than to have those unsolicited automated phone calls dial up our phone trying to entice us into voting for some politician (whom I probably would not have voted for in the first place and most certainly will not now).
But the ones that really makes me mad are the scammers that are trying to trick you with "lowering your interest rates" on your account, on your credit card, or whatever.
Listen up People!
WE DON"T HAVE ANY CREDIT CARDS!!!
Futhermore, we don't have but one account we owe on!
So the next time you decide to call me... I'm pushing 1 again and this time, instead of just asking you to remove me from your calling list, I'm going to "sell you something" at no cost to you. But oh yes, someone did pay the price for it a long time ago.
I'm going to take the opportunity to tell you about Jesus. EVERY TIME YOU CALL!
So bring it on. Maybe I can help you with your account... your life's account with God, that is! And it won't be a Scam!

Laura: If it's a completely recorded call without a real person at the other end, I bet if you pressed "1" and then just left your phone off the hook for a while, you'd screw up their automated system.
