I recently won a year subscription to The Tessy & Tab Reading Club for preschoolers for my youngest four children, Emma 5, Grace 3, Nathan 2, and Thomas who turns a year old tomorrow, Wednesday, October 3rd. They will receive a total of 24 issues of this magazine.
They have received one of the magazines so far... Yard Sale.
I had to giggle at the title, because I'm a Momma who loves to shop at Yard Sales... and thrift stores.
My children loved this little gem of a book. They had their older brother, Trey who is 8, and their older brother, Jakob who is 7, to read it to them several times in addition to me reading it to them.
My 5 year old immediately started picking up and was "reading" the story. Sure she wasn't reading the words as they were written, but she was telling about it as if she was... that leads into her fully reading.
They can't wait for the next one to arrive in our mailbox (and neither can I)!
